Expert Opinion

An Expert Opinion is - the opinion of a person that can be called on to testify in court, even though they were not present at the time of the occurrence.

Expert Opinion is driven by the persons technical skills, education, training, knowledge and industry experience.

The difference between an expert opinion/witness and a non expert witness is that the non expert witness must confine their response to questions in court and to the facts of the occurrence.
